Block Out Levels 878-883: Six New Expert Boards and Video Solutions
Block Out Levels 878-883: six new Expert boards, each with a walkthrough page, board preview and a video solution.
Related video walkthroughs
Six more boards are live: Level 878 through Level 883, all rated Expert and all with a published video walkthrough. That takes the level library from 877 to 883 and continues the run started in the 872-877 level log.
The batch arrived together, so the reading habits carry straight over from the previous set. The boards stay dense, the open lanes stay few, and the opening two or three moves still decide how much room the rest of the puzzle has to work with. Read the doors before you slide anything.

The six newest boards
All six carry the Expert rating. Treat them as one stretch: the reading habit that clears one of them clears the next.
Level 878

Open the Level 878 walkthrough or watch the video solution on YouTube.
Map the exits for every color before the first slide. The board rewards the player who clears the single-approach color early and punishes the one who spends that lane on a bigger group that had another route all along.
Level 879

The outer lanes are the release valve again. Clear one outer group to open breathing room, then work back toward the center. Going straight through the middle walls off the blocks that still need that route later.
Level 880

Open the Level 880 walkthrough or watch the video solution on YouTube.
Watch for the block that doubles as a door for a different color. It looks like clutter, but taking it early shuts a lane another color still depends on. Clear that lane first, then reclaim the space.
Level 881

Open the Level 881 walkthrough or watch the video solution on YouTube.
Timing beats ordering on the moving pieces. Confirm the landing lane is empty before sending a block into a lift or conveyor. A blocked landing wastes the whole cycle, and this board rarely hands out a second one.
Level 882

Open the Level 882 walkthrough or watch the video solution on YouTube.
There is very little slack here. Take the constrained colors while their routes still exist and leave the short central path for the end. When a queue starts to form, stop and recheck which doors remain open instead of pushing through.
Level 883

Open the Level 883 walkthrough or watch the video solution on YouTube.
The last board of the batch and the tightest of the six. Map every color's routes before the opening move, then start with the single-exit color. If the position locks up, a clean restart beats trying to rescue a board where nothing has a route left.
What the closing 870s ask for
The same four habits carry these boards:
- Read every door before moving. The door layout is the map; the blocks are traffic.
- Protect the center. The shortest route is also the first one to jam.
- Clear constrained colors early. A color with one approach cannot wait while you clear something easier.
- Wait for moving obstacles. Generators and lifts reward timing more than speed.
Using the walkthroughs
The video is the verified solve; the notes above describe how to read the board rather than a move-by-move script. A routine that works well here:
- Watch the opening of the video up to the first color that leaves the board.
- Restart and reproduce that opening yourself.
- Finish the board without the video.
- If it jams, rewatch only the section where your route diverged.
Every level in this range has a page with the board preview, difficulty rating and embedded walkthrough. Browse all Block Out levels for the full library, or go back to the 872-877 log for the previous stretch.
