Block Out Levels 866-871: Six New Expert Boards and Video Solutions
Block Out Levels 866-871: six new Expert boards, each with a walkthrough page, board preview and a video solution.
Related video walkthroughs
Six more boards are live: Level 866 through Level 871, all rated Expert and all with a published video walkthrough. That takes the level library from 865 to 871 and continues the run started in the 860-865 level log.
These arrived as one batch, so the same approach applies across all six. The grids are dense, the open lanes are few, and the first two or three moves decide how much room the rest of the board has to work with. Read the doors before you slide anything.

The six newest boards
All six carry the Expert rating. Treat them as one stretch: whatever reading habit clears one of them clears the next.
Level 866

Count usable exits per color before touching anything. The color with a single approach has to move first, even when a larger group looks like the obvious opening. Clearing the big group early is what closes the narrow color's lane.
Level 867

The outer ring is the release valve here. Clear one outer group to open space, then work back toward the center. Going straight for the middle route walls off the blocks that still need it later.
Level 868

Open the Level 868 walkthrough or watch the video solution on YouTube.
Look for the block that also serves as a door for a different color. It reads as clutter, but taking it early shuts a lane another color still depends on. Clear that lane first, then reclaim the space.
Level 869

Open the Level 869 walkthrough or watch the video solution on YouTube.
Timing beats ordering on the moving pieces. Confirm the landing lane is empty before sending a block into a lift or conveyor. A blocked landing wastes the entire cycle, and the board rarely gives you a second one.
Level 870

Open the Level 870 walkthrough or watch the video solution on YouTube.
There is very little slack on this board. Take the constrained colors while their routes still exist and leave the short central path for the end. When a queue starts to form, stop and recheck which doors remain open rather than pushing through.
Level 871

Open the Level 871 walkthrough or watch the video solution on YouTube.
The last board of the batch and the tightest of the six. Map every color's routes before the opening move, then start with the single-exit color. If the position locks up, a clean restart beats trying to rescue a board where nothing has a route left.
What the late 860s ask for
The same four habits carry these boards:
- Read every door before moving. The door layout is the map; the blocks are traffic.
- Protect the center. The shortest route is also the first one to jam.
- Clear constrained colors early. A color with one approach cannot wait while you clear something easier.
- Wait for moving obstacles. Generators and lifts reward timing more than speed.
Using the walkthroughs
The video is the verified solve; the notes above describe how to read the board rather than a move-by-move script. A routine that works well here:
- Watch the opening of the video up to the first color that leaves the board.
- Restart and reproduce that opening yourself.
- Finish the board without the video.
- If it jams, rewatch only the section where your route diverged.
Every level in this range has a page with the board preview, difficulty rating and embedded walkthrough. Browse all Block Out levels for the full library, or go back to the 860-865 log for the previous stretch.
