Block Out Levels 890-895: Six Expert Boards and the Last Stop Before 900

Block Out Levels 890-895: six Expert boards with walkthrough pages, board previews and video solutions for each level.

The library stops at Level 895 now. 890 through 895 went up as one batch, all six rated Expert, and all six have a video walkthrough on the site and on YouTube. The previous batch was 884-889, so this picks up exactly where that run ended.

The boards themselves do not look much different from the last stretch of Expert levels. Same narrow lanes, same crowded opening. What changes is how little room you get for a correction. By the time a color is halfway to its door on these boards, undoing the route usually costs more moves than the color was worth.

The six newest boards

Each entry below has the board preview, a link to its own page and the video solution. Watch the video only as far as the first color leaving the board, then restart and replay that part yourself before watching the rest.

Find the color with the single door first. That color sets the clock for everything else, and on this board it is not the color with the most blocks. If you start with the biggest group you will spend the opening clearing space nobody needs.

Two colors here want the same lane. Decide which of them has another way out, send that one second, and keep the first departure clean. The rest of the board opens once that lane stays free long enough for both.

Timing board. Wait one full cycle of the moving piece before you commit anything into it. A block parked on the wrong side of the cycle becomes a wall for every color behind it, and you will not get that space back cheaply.

The center is a trap. Clearing colors in a tidy visual order fills it with blocks that only look organised, and the outer routes close before you notice. Work from the tight route outward instead and leave the wide lane for the last two colors.

Short routes first, always. The shortest path between a block and its door jams first on a board this dense. If a color can only use that short route, it needs to move before the route fills up, not after.

The current end of the library, and the least forgiving of the six. Trace one route for every color before your opening slide and mark where the routes cross. Whichever crossing carries two colors is the move to protect, and the rest of the solve follows from keeping it open.

What to watch for on these boards

The video is a verified solve, not a script. The useful part is the shape of the board:

  • One door, one schedule. A color with a single exit decides the order of everything else.
  • Crossings before colors. If two colors share a lane, the order between them is the puzzle.
  • Moving pieces need a full cycle. Watch the lift or generator go all the way round once before committing.
  • Leave the wide lane last. The forgiving route is the one you want available when the board is nearly clear.
  • Restart without guilt. If no color has a workable route, one more nudge will not make one.

How to use the walkthroughs

Every level from 890 to 895 has its own page with the board preview, difficulty rating and embedded video. A method that holds up on Expert boards:

  1. Watch only up to the first color leaving the board.
  2. Restart and replay that opening yourself.
  3. Keep going alone until you stall.
  4. Rewatch from the point your route went wrong, not from the start.
