Block Out Levels 920-925: Six Expert Boards Where Side Counters Decide the Route
Block Out Levels 920-925: six Expert boards with wide trays, side counters and a two-panel level, plus board previews and video solutions for each.
Related video walkthroughs
The library now runs to Level 925. 920 through 925 went up as one batch, all six rated Expert, and every one has a page on the site and a video solution on YouTube. The previous batch was 914-919, so this picks up exactly where that run ended.
The last two batches were about stacked and overhead trays. This one spreads back out. Most of these boards give you one or two wide trays and then a ring of small counters around the edge, and the counters are the part that decides whether the run ends badly. A tray marked 2 or 3 cannot take a fast stream, so it has to be fed early and then left alone, and a counter that sits on the only lane out can seal the board just as firmly as a full tray.

The six newest boards
Each entry below has the board preview, a link to its own page and the video solution. Watch only as far as the first tray completing, then restart and replay that part yourself before watching the rest.

The top third is a solid belt of coloured blocks, red through green, pressed under two small counters at 2 and 22. Everything below it hangs off two wide trays: a purple 4 that runs the full width across the middle, and a 26 that sits along the bottom right. A tall 34 column on the right edge is the biggest number on the board and the last thing to fill, with 3 and 12 counters stacked above it and 18 at the bottom left. The belt on top is where the difficulty lives. It has to be thinned from the middle outward so both the 4 and the 26 keep a lane, and the 2 at the top left is easy to waste early on a block that the 22 could have taken.

One wide tray across the very top, marked 14, fed by counters at 27 above, 21 on the left and 15 on the right. Below it the frame opens into a loose field of blue, purple, orange, red and yellow blocks, and the left side steps down through three separate 7 counters. On the right the counters go 2, then 6, then 9, and the bottom is a single 25. A blue slider sits on the left edge. This is the roomiest board of the six, which makes it the easiest to ruin by improvisation: the three 7s are the only drains close to the block field, so they have to stay fed while the 14 keeps its top lane clear. The 2 on the right is a finishing counter, not an opening one.

Top and bottom are trays, middle is blocks. A wide 7 sits under counters at 17 and left 7, with a blue 9 tray wedged into the top right corner beside a 12. The block field in the centre is a mix of pink, red, yellow, blue and orange with a pink slider on the left edge. Under it, two wide trays stack: 15, then 21. The sides carry 28 low on the left, 22 and 21 on the right, and a 37 runs along the bottom. The 37 is the largest single number here and the least useful early, because the two stacked trays above it have to be cleared first. Work the centre field top-down so the 15 fills before the 21 starts taking strays.
Level 923

Two separate boards in one frame again, and this time the split is vertical: a small upper panel and a wide lower one. The upper panel has a green roof arrow, a purple upright tray marked 1, a red upright tray marked 8, counters at 6 and 11 on top, 1 on the left, 11 and 11 on the right and 4 and 30 at the base. The lower panel is two long trays, 16 over 17, ringed by 17 and 30 on top, 16 on the right, 20 on the left and 23 and 30 underneath. Clear the upper panel first. Its 1 and 8 are small and self-contained, and finishing them stops the red and purple blocks from drifting into the lower board's lanes.
Level 924

The two biggest trays sit side by side at the top as square wells: a green 5 under counters at 15 and left 31, and an orange 1 under 36 and right 27. The middle is a dense block field of purple, blue, green and orange, with a green slider on the left and two tiny 1 counters inside it, one horizontal and one upright. The edges carry 6 on the left and 1 on the right, and a wide orange 2 runs along the bottom with 12 to its left and 16 below. The 36 and the 27 are the two sinks that matter, and both are only reachable through the narrow throat between the two top wells, so keep that throat clear. Treat the two small 1s as the last moves, not the first.
Level 925

The new end of the library, and the only one of the six with a hedge border. A purple 14 sits in the top right under a 14 counter, with blue counters at 32 and 25 stacked on the left, all of it framed by green foliage. Below that, a long tray marked 8 spans the frame, with 19 on the left and a small column of 6, 4 and 10 counters down the right and bottom. The lower third is a block field of red, blue, purple, green and yellow with a blue slider on the left and a horizontal slider bar set into the middle. The 32 is the largest number on the board and it is trapped behind the hedge in the top left, so open the lane to it before the 8 starts taking blocks. The 4 at the bottom right is the last counter you touch.
What to watch for on these boards
The video is a verified solve, not a script. The useful part is the shape of the board:
- Small counters are not spare capacity. A 2 or a 3 can only take one or two blocks before it is done, so it has to be fed on purpose.
- Wide trays want a clean top-down pass. If two long trays are stacked, clear the upper one before the lower one starts collecting strays.
- Two-panel levels are two problems. Finish the small panel first and stop its blocks from crossing into the wide one.
- The biggest number is often the hardest to reach, not the hardest to fill. Open its lane early.
- Restart without guilt. If no block has a tray that will take it, one more nudge will not make one.
How to use the walkthroughs
Every level from 920 to 925 has its own page with the board preview, difficulty rating and embedded video. A method that holds up on Expert boards:
- Watch only up to the first tray completing.
- Restart and replay that opening yourself.
- Keep going alone until you stall.
- Rewatch from the point your route went wrong, not from the start.
