Block Out Levels 701-800: Newest Expert Level Log
A field log for Block Out Levels 701-800: how the newest Expert boards behave, why their view counts are lower, and how to approach a level with little written help.
Related video walkthroughs
The 700s are the newest part of the Expert run. View counts are lower here for a simple reason: the videos have had less time to accumulate an audience. That does not mean the boards are easier. It means fewer players have left a trail of comments and search queries to tell you which route is the trap.
This log is written for that situation. You may be one of the first players to reach a board, so you need a way to read it without relying on a well-worn walkthrough title.
The newest stretch
The 701–800 boards share the Expert vocabulary: dense layouts, shared center lanes, elevators and generators. They also tend to feel less familiar because the specific arrangements are newer. The rules are the same, but pattern recognition is weaker.
That makes the first scan more important. Do not assume a board in the 700s behaves like a board in the 200s just because the colors look similar. Check the doors and the open routes from scratch.
How to approach a board with little help
Use this sequence:
- Identify the color with one route.
- Identify the door with the most blockers.
- Find the safest edge cell for temporary parking.
- Check whether a generator will fill the space you are about to clear.
- Clear the constrained color before the large group.
If you cannot complete the first two steps, the board is not ready for a move. Look again rather than trying a random color.
Boards worth opening first
Level 709 is the most-watched board in this stretch, which makes it a useful entry point for the 700s. The video shows how an Expert board can look open at the start and become tight after the first few clears.
The rest of the range is less traveled. If you are stuck, the linked level page is more useful than a generic hint because it shows the exact board. Watch the opening, pause before the first center move, and compare it with your own plan.
Why lower view counts are not a difficulty signal
A board in the 700s may have a fraction of the views of Level 229 simply because it is newer. Do not interpret a low view count as evidence that the level is easy or that no one else got stuck. It only means the video has had less time to circulate.
Use the difficulty tier and the board layout, not the view count, to decide how carefully to plan. Every Expert board deserves the same first scan.
If you are stuck in the 700s
Restart if the center is closed and no block has a complete route. If the board still has a route, clear the constrained block first and re-check the generator and elevator timing before the next move.
